| JMC seals tutorial violating BOA | | |

JAMMU, Apr 17: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today sealed the building of National College of Competition and Brainsmiths-nurturing intellect tutorial at Kachi Chowni in the lane opposite Fire Brigade Office under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act 1988.
The owner of the tutorial had also defaced the public property by pasting/erecting banners/posters of said tutorial at different places. The residents residing nearby said tutorial have appreciated the action of the Jammu Municipal Corporation. The said operation was carried out with the active co-operation and assistance of police force from Pacca Danga Police Station.
Besides this, the Municipal Commissioner in a day long extensive tour with Enforcement Staff visited the areas of Gandhi Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Gangyal, Sainik Colony, Channi Himmat, Trikuta Nagar, New Plots, Janipur, Roop Nagar, Muthi, etc. and inspected the ongoing construction works. Commissioner got the unauthorized/construction works which were being raised in violations of approved building plans stopped and directed builders to seek proper permission as per approved building plans.
