| Kranti Dal condemns cross voting | | |

JAMMU, Apr 17: Kranti Dal (KD) has strongly condemned the cross voting by seven BJP MLAs in the recently held legislative council elections.
Addressing media persons here today, Pritam Sharma, general secretary, Kranti Dal said that BJP MLAs have dented faith of the people of Jammu region who gave them their support by voting in their favour and elevated them to 11 seats in LA. He said that people voted in their favour after famous Amarnath Land agitation so that they could raise the voice of Jammu but by cross voting, he said that they have hurt the sentiments of the people
Kranti Dal leaders said that a commission must be set up to check the asset of political leaders and demanded probe against MLAs who cross voted. Among others who were present in the press conference Roop Singh Chib, state president, Rajinder Bhagat, Manpreet Singh youth leader, Sankul Gupta, youth president, Akhil Gandotra, Harasis Singh, Vijay Kumar, Jagdish Soodan and others.
