Sham releases Vedic magazine-Ved Ishwairya Vani

JAMMU, APRIL 17- Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today released the first edition of Ved Ishwairya Vani a magazine based on Vedic teachings at a function held here today. Published from the city of emples, the magazine has research based articles contributed by the spiritual Guru, learned scholars and followers of Swami Ram Swarupji Yogacharya.
The objective of publishing this magazine is to spread the Vedic knowledge to the people for the betterment of human society, rather than laying emphasis on materialistic and mundane values. Appreciating the endeavor of the publisher Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta for bringing out this valuable book under the guidance of spiritual Guru Swami Ram Swarupji Yogachayra, the Minister said that the book will help in enlightening the spiritual knowledge of people. Besides, the publication will also enlighten the readers with other aspects of life including science, business, polity and military affairs, he added. Stressing the need for simplifying the religious literature, Mr. Sharma urged the intellectuals to contribute in this direction, so that the younger generation which is ignorant of Sanskrit language, can avail benefits of these books. He called for promoting the Dogri language and rich ethos of Indian culture and asked the younger generation to pledge for serving the society selflessly.
Learned scholars, Acharya Vidya Bhanu Shastri, LD Shastri threw light on the importance of Vedas in today’s materialistic life. They laid emphasis on delivery of spiritual knowledge to the younger generations for the betterment of the society as a whole.
Former Justice and President of J&K State Consumer Forum, G.D. Sharma while appreciating the efforts on part of the editorial team for bringing out this valuable piece of literature, laid stress on the relevance of Vedas in transforming the present generation.
Deputy Editor, Supriya Gandotra presented vote of thanks. She also threw light on the objective of book and said that the book will prove useful for the Vedic lovers and become source of inspiration for the younger generation.
Galaxy of intellectuals, prominent citizens and people from different walks of life were present on the occasion.
