| German delegation calls on Deputy Speaker: discusses Kashmir situation | | |
Jammu, Nov 16
A two-member German delegation, headed by Mr Sebastian Edathy, called on Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone here last evening.
The delegation held wide ranging discussions on various issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir, which included overall security scenario, situation of human rights and steps for the resolution to the Kashmir issue.
The Deputy Speaker briefed the delegation on the overall situation of the State and said the situation had improved considerably over the years and the people of Jammu and Kashmir wanted peace and development in the region.
