Revocation of Dogra Certificate intolerable: DVM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 18: Duggar Vikas Manch (DVM) held its meeting here today to discuss the controversy erupted after the announcement of issuing Dogra Certificate to the Dogras of J&K, a long pending demand of the Dogri speaking community residing in the State. During the meeting a decision was taken unanimously that no dilution or revocation of the order about issuing Dogra Certificate to the Dogri speaking people of J&K State, majority of who are living in Jammu Province shall be tolerated. It was resolved in the meeting that any surrender by the Government before the communal forces from Kashmir Valley who are raising hue and cry over this issue of recognising Dogra identity will have a back lash in the form of an agitation. While speaking on the occasion Dineshwar Singh Jamwal, Convener of Duggar Viks Manch has asked the so called Kashmiri leadership, who are opposing this issue to worry about only Kashmiris and advised them not to interfere in the matters of Dogra Community by trying to divide them on the basis of their religion as this certificate will also be available to Muslims, Sikhs and other ethnic Dogra communities of J&K State.
