| Jr Snooker: Easy sailing for Karan, Gagandeep | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 18: Young cueist, Gagandeep Singh and Karan Verma had easy sailing over their opponents in the first round of the junior snooker event in the ongoing Jammu District Open Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
While Gagandeep defeated his senior in straight frames 70-27, 56-21, Karan trounced Raghav Mangotra 60-29, 48-26 to find berth in last 32 group.
Now, the second round of the competition shall start tomorrow. As many as 16 matches have been scheduled by the organizers, J&K Billiards and Snooker Association for tomorrow.
Today’s matches were officiated by Surjit Singh Baloria and Rakesh Sharma.
