JAMMU, April 18: A deputation of Sangram Sena Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu under the chairmanship of its president, Ram Rattan Raina met Superintendent of Archeology Survey of India,' at Gandhi Nagar , Jammu.
The leader of the deputation R.R. Raina apprised the officer about Mubarak Mandi. He said that Mubarak Mandi Complex is an ancient heritage of Dogra Rulers.
He said that the present Mubarak Mandi complex has been utilized by the successive governments as High Court, Assembly and for other offices from where governance was delivered. But now if any step is taken to convert the Mubarak Mandi Complex in Hotel or such thing it will hurt to the sentiments of Dogras of Jammu Province.
He urged upon the President of India that the present proposal of converting the Mubarak Mandi Complex into Hotel, it will hurt the sentiments of Jammuites and with the passage of time Dogra heritage will get vanish which is not acceptable to Jammuites.
