| Pressure cooker IED recovered from HM hideout | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 18: An IED fitted in a pressure cooker and other explosive items were today recovered by security forces from a Hizbum Mujahideen (HM) hideout in Bahai Bhatidhar forests of Mendhar, Poonch.
Police sources said on specific information about the presence of militants in Bahai Bhatidhar woods, a joint column of police, 37RR and 152 CRPF Bn launched an operation in the area in the morning.
During searches, the jawans came across a militant hideout. Its search led them to the recovery of two Pak made pistols along with two magazines and some rounds, one pressure cooker IED, 4 UBGL grenades, 180 AK rounds, one pouch and a first-aid kit.The hideout was later smashed by the jawans.
