| Youth PDP concerned over dilapidated Poonch roads | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 19: Nadeem Khan state general secretary PDP youth has said that the roads of district Poonch are not safe for proper running of vehicles and the conditions are worst ,the peoples of district suffering lot but PWD officers district Poonch are dumb as they have paid no heed to the grievances of sufferings of the peoples. Mendhar tehsil also protested in this regard many times against Department and alleged that it was involved in the works where it has personal benefits as PWD Department of district Poonch is gripped in the web of corruption.
He said that roads which are under PWD are totally damaged and work done on these roads like Surankote Mendhar, the running road and all links roads of Mendhar are damaged and are full of pits and are not safe for driving.
He urged that coalition govt should open its eyes and asked the authorities that immediate action should be taken for early completion of damaged roads and blacktopping for the interest of people.
Sstate general secretary said that mobile networks of district Poonch are not properly working as most of times system remained busy and BSNL network system in the district is poor in far flung area due to less number of mobile towers in the rural areas of villages. He said that govt should take positive steps in this regard so that heavy burden on the network system may be lessened.
