JAMMU, April 19: New comer Pankaj Sharma today upset third-seed, Ishan Choudhary beating latter 2-1 in the second round of the junior snooker event in the Jammu District Open Billiards and Snooker Championship underway at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
With today’s win, Pankaj, along with 15 other cueists, sailed into the third round of pre-quarterfinals of junior snooker championship.
Besides Ishan, two other seeded cueists also suffered defeat in the second round today. They were seventh seed, Abhinav Sharma and eighth-seed, Nitish Mahajan.
