JKFA visits Arun’s football camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 19: To pat international footballer, Arun Malhotra and to further encourage the budding talent, resident secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), Surinder Singh Bunty today visited the ongoing coaching camp at University of Jammu (JU) grounds, here. He spent time with the young football players of under-14 age group and interacted with them individually. Bunty spoke to the boys on different aspects of the game and guided them to the right earnest. Speaking to the boys, Surinder Singh said, “For playing in the tournaments organised under the banner of Association, one must join a football club. So, my advice to you is to get registered with any of the affiliated football clubs of the Association.” He informed the boys that Association has introduced a separate competition for under-14 category in the recent past. When contacted, Arun Malhotra said that Association has a great role to play in making of a player. “The guidance about different competitions at the state and national level organised by the Associations is as important as the coaching itself. So, today’s visit by Surinder Singh Bunty would certainly help the boys.” Arun Malhotra informed SAN.
