A high level meeting of Congress workers organized by Sr. Congress leader and former member parliament, Janak Raj Gupta was held here today to celebrate the birth anniversary of Late Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
The meeting which was addressed by PCC president Peerzada Mohd Sayeed, was attended by Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Raman Bhalla, Dharam Paul Sharma, S. Parduman Singh, Janak Raj Gupta, PAsuh Paul Khajuria, Swarn Lata, Amlok Singh, Om Chopra, Balwant Singh, Hari Singh and Ved Prakash Bhagat a senior leader of BJ who joined the Congress.
In the meeting all the participants appreciated the steps taken by chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in making. Jammu, Kashmir a Khushal State. They also appealed to people to attend the congress rally on November 19 in large number to celebrate the birth anniversary of Inidra Gandhi. In a one voice all the leaders present on the condemn Pakistan in promoting militancy in the state.
