| Jan convenes NC workers’ meet | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, April 19:
MLA Poonch Ajaz Ahmed Jan convened a workers meet at Poonch which was among others attended by all the block presidents party delegates and workers from Poonch and Mandi blocks.
The meeting was also attended by all the ex sarpanches and panches from the twin blocks of Poonch and Mandi.
The meet was organised to discuss the strategy for upcoming panchayat elections which the coalition government has decided to conduct on non party basis.
The legislator while addressing the gathering made clear the policies of the government and the directions from the party high command to go for non party basis and let the people choose their representatives at the basic and most powerful level of democracy with their own wishes and choices.
The MLA made it clear to the people that he will be the first to say yes to every choice made at your level for the panches and sarpanches.
