Eyes for an eye policy only mean to crush the militancy: Singh

“ If government fails to award death punishment to Afzal Guru, Anti Terror Group is bound to hold a nation wide Agitation under the leadership its president SS Bitta said Sudeep Singh Kadyan, president Haryana State Anti Terrorist Group in a press conference here today.
Sharply reacting over the statement of Supremo Lashker- e- Toiba, Hafiz Mohd Sayeed to a private channel that the militant outfits active in Indian Territory are getting arm and ammunition from the Indian military forces, he further said that it is the need of the hour that Indian Government must sort out the blue eyed security men from the security agencies. He also stressed upon political parties to abandon the blame game as well as politics of chair and emphasized upon adoption of serious measures against the terrorists and supporters of terrorism, while addressing a press conference here today.
Expressing his serious concern over the recent serial blast in Mumbai, Singh said that intelligence agencies have failed to nab the culprits. Pointing towards turmoil prevailing in the valley, he said that Government has a very soft attitude towards the militants.
He also criticized the political parties of the state for their soft stand over the issue of capital punishment to main accused in the parliament attack Afzal Guru.
He also raised question over the functioning of intelligence agencies and stated that despite knowing the number of infiltrators, security agencies time and again fail to get them arrested.
He also opposed the on going peace talk with the Pakistan and said that Government of India must snap ties with Pakistan if it is really interested to eliminate the militancy from the country.
He further added that militancy related cases must be cleared at the earliest and demanded legislation of strict anti terrorist laws.
