| Rangoli competition organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 20: In order to celebrate the World Heritage Day, Handa College of Education organised a rangoli competition which is traditional decorative folk art of India in the college premises.
The participant students were divided among four teams , A, B, C & D.
The students made beautiful and meaningful Rangoli’s depicting the art, culture, spiritual and religious beliefs of India.
The students used different flowers, petals and natural colours to create beautiful rangoli patterns.
The managing director of the college Vikram Handa , the director of the college Gurpreet Handa and the principal of the college Phoola Chowdhary adjudged the competition.
Team A led by Heena Sheikh secured first position ,Team B led by Mercy Gill & Team D led by Seema Devi secured second and third divisions respectively.
The convenor of the programme was Sapandeep Kour and the vote of thanks was presented by Shruti Raina.
