| Truck gutted in fire | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, April 20: A truck loaded with dry fruits was today gutted in fire on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, 80 kms from here.
The vehicle was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar when it caught fire near Qazigund area, apparently due to leakage in the gas cylinder kept inside it, police sources said.
Both the driver and conductor escaped unhurt, they said. Meanwhile, two residential houses were also gutted in separate fire incidents at Lohersanzi-Kokernag in Anantnag district and Sheikh Colony in Baramulla district, police said.
