| Manhandling with electrical inspector at Doda condemned by Union | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, April 20: Electrical Employees Union Bhaderwah today strongly condemned the manhandling with Saleem Ahmed Tak Electrical Inspector and President Electrical Employees Union Bhaderwah one week back at Mohalla Sarafan Bhaderwah by some miscreants when he was on duty.
He was in the same area for meter reading and collecting the monthly rent for the department disclosed Bashir Ahmed Batt vice President.
Electrical Employees Union leaders said that when their president Saleem Ahmed Tak Electric Inspector along with other staff was on routine duty of meter reading in Mohalla Sarafan quite adjacent to the house of one Abdul Latief Banday , his wife came out as called upon them to come inside the house as they have to make payments of electric dues
The leaders further claimed that when the official denied she called her daughter and husband and started abusing and simultaneously man handled with wooden rods thereby treating his hand seriously and added that after the employees shifted the Electric Inspector to SDH Bhaderwah for specialization treatment where doctors declared that his two fingers received facture.
After that doctors shifted him to District Hospital Doda where Electric Inspector remain admitted for three days the Union leaders said and informed that after that they lodge a FIR in Police station Bhaderwah but till day the culprits are roaming scout free and they have no fear of the law , Union members added .
Union leaders also said that those who attacked their leader and Employee sare the defaulter and has to pay more than 11000 as electricity bill for his electric consumption.
Union said culprit is doing wrong propaganda against the department and Union which is intolerable and urged upon the PDD Minister ,DDC Doda and SP Doda to personally look into the matter and arrest the culprit within seven days if not then Union will launched an agitation in the whole Doda distt and for which administration will be responsible .
