| MLAs who cross-voted in LC polls | | PIL for CBI probe against BJP | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 20: SOS International, in a PIL filed in high court here, has sought registration of a case under prevention of corruption Act against the BJP MLAs, who had allegedly cross-voted in legislative council polls in lieu of cash and other considerations.
In the PIL, the NGO prayed for the issuance of a direction to CBI to register a case under prevention of corruption Act against the BJP MLAs who had indulged in cross-voting during the LC polls.The NGO sought further direction to the state of J&K through chief
secretary and legislative assembly secretary to take action against the erring seven BJP MLAs for having indulged in the electoral malpractices with respect to elections of 6 MLCs conducted on April 13 last.
