Strategy based of feedback of displaced KP’s to be designed: AIKS | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, April 21: Chairing a meeting of AIKS activists, President All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), Pt. Moti Kaul said that this is not the time to be wasted. Interlocutors are hectically interacting with the Kashmiri people in Srinagar. Kashmir Committee is being also rejuvenated and so we can not afford to be silent spectators. We have to form major strategy on the feed back of common displaced Kashmiris Pandits, he said. He also urged the activists to go to the people with the formats for documentations of data to be submitted for AIKS Writ Petition No.534/2006 before Supreme Court of India. While expressing satisfaction over the unanimity of the Kashmiri Pandit leaders in highlighting and struggling for tabling and passing of Kashmiri Hindi Temples and Shrines Bill Kaul said that despite of many assurances from the government form time to time it is very unfortunate that the bill was put to backburner in last assembly session also. On one side government of Jammu and Kashmir state is assuring us to do everything so that our tortures and pain gets lessened abut on the other hand nothing seems visible on the ground for putting their words into action,. He also urged the NGOs in general and Kashmiri Pandit NGOs in particular to come forward to help the displaced Kashmiri Pandits in various ways especially in the education sector. Social erosions are creeping in the Kashmiris Pandit society on an alarming rate and we need to work for the eradication of these after cross sectioning the reasons which are leading to such erosions. Senior leader V K Kashkari informed that some years before it was AIKS which filed a writ petition in Supreme Court of India against Genocide, apartheid & atrocities committed on displaced community. He urged upon the Govt. to be serious in mitigating the problems of the Pandits and ensure the quick tabling of the Kashmiri Hindu temples and Shrine bill as the same has been lingering for a long time now.
