Shanti Colony Tigers win by 8 wkts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT AKHNOOR, April 21: Shanti Colony Tigers Akhnoor today made it a big eight-wicket win over White Devils in the ongoing under-16 tournament, organised by Akhnoor Tehsil Cricket Committee at Government Higher Secondary School, here. Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, White Devils set a target of 115 runs for the loss of five wickets in given 20 overs. Akash was top scorer with 27-ball 37 runs while Manik and Shubir contributed 14 runs each. From Shanti Colony, Neeraj Jamwal claimed three wickets, while Deepak and Shubam shared one each. In reply, Shanti Colony Tigers attained the goal in just 12.1 overs for the loss of two wickets. Neeraj and Deepak were top scorers with 32 and 31 runs in their respective accounts. Vishal contributed 15 runs. Dinesh took one wicket from White Devils. For his all-round performance, Neeraj Jamwal was declared man of the match. Today’s match was officiated by Ranjit Singh Bhau, Sham Lal Sharma and Akash Gupta (scorer).
