EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 21: Likewise previous year, the specialized coaching camp, organised for under-14 boys by international football player of Jammu, Arun Malhotra concluded on a positive note at University of Jammu (JU) grounds, here this afternoon. On the last day of the camp, Registrar of JU, Dr PS Pathania was special invitee, who interacted with the young campers and enquired about their experience in the camp. He appreciated Arun for guiding the future footballers of the state in a professional manner. “We must support and encourage such initiatives by the cream of the state sports. JU always extends help for such endeavors as the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Varun Sahni is very keen to promote sports on the campus,” he told the gathering of young football players. Earlier, Arun on behalf of the campers extended his gratitude to the JU, especially the Director Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau for the cooperation. In all, around 80 boys turned up for the selection process and after screening 35 were short listed for the camp.
