| Semis line-up drawn in junior snooker | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 21: Semifinals position has been cleared in junior snooker event with the entry of defending champion, Nitin Sharma, Sourabh, Sachin Bamba and Gagandeep Singh in the last four stages of junior snooker event of the Jammu District Open Billiards and Snooker Championship underway at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
Now, in the semi-finals, to be played tomorrow, Gagandeep Singh shall take on Sourabh at 12 noon while Nitin Sharma shall lock horns against Sachin Bamba at 2 pm.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, Nitin defeated Aditya Sharma in straight frames while Sourabh trounced Bhuhran Khan again in straight frames. In other quarterfinals, Sachin beat Abhishek Goswami 2-0 and Gagandeep outplayed Pankaj Sharma 2-1.
Meanwhile, draws for the senior snooker event shall take place at 12 noon at Billiards Hall, followed by the matches from April 23.
