| State Jr Chess meet begins tomorrow | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 21: Junior State Chess Championship shall start from April 23 at Hotel Nek, Below Gumat here under the banner of All J&K Chess Association.
In this two-day event, competition in all age groups of under-seven, under-nine, under-13, under-15, under-17 and under-19 shall take place in both boys and girls sections.
“The participants have been advised to report at the venue well in time so as to start the competition at 9 am sharp,” said president of the Association, Atul Kumar.
It will be out of this event that selected players would be sent for nationals to be conducted by All India Chess Federation.
