"The recent turmoil in Jammu and Kashmir has increased regional and religious polarisation in the state," General Officer Commanding (GOC), Ace of Space Division Major General Om Prakash said at a seminar on Peace here. "Petty" politics have stirred the existing fault lines, feeding on the cultural, social and religious multiplicity of the people of the state and their "prismatic and fragmented political orientations", he said.
