| Adarsh College celebrates Earth Day, organizes awareness rally | | |

JAMMU, April 22:
The Management of Adarsh College of Education, Tarore, Samba today organized a rally in connection with the celebration of Earth Day.
The aim of the rally was to generate the awareness among the people about the protection of our planet earth.
The rally proceeded from Adarsh College to Village Jakh, Tarore, Patli Morh via National Highway and back to college.
It was flagged off by Chairman Adarsh Educational Trust A K Kapoor. The students raised slogans during the rally like “Save Trees, Go Green”, “Save Environment”.
Speaking on the occasion, Kapoor congratulated the College Management, Staff and the students in showing their volunteer spirit in creating awareness amongst the mass about how to protect our motherland.
He said first we have to start form our own house, college, society and then we can reach our goals and destinations adding that such days are celebrated not only to perform a ritual but to remind the society and the common man about our moral responsibilities towards the society as well as the nation at large.
