Lone demands compensation for rain affected people

SANGRAMA, April 22:
Former MLA Sangrama and President Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) Shoaib Nabi Lone has expressed concern over the recent soil erosion caused due to heavy rains in Kandi areas of Sangrama constituency.
In a press statement issued here PYC president has said that due to recent heavy rains most of the areas of Sangrama have suffered loss.
As per the statement the affected areas include Manigam, Bandibala, Nagbal and Sultanpura.
The villagers mostly farmers have suffered loss. He has said that lands of farmers were washed away due to land erosion. Their fields have wiped off the map and have been converted into desert not worth cultivation in future. He said that most of the land owners have been affected their crops were perished.
While expressing shock over the loss in the area the Youth Congress state president has urged upon the government to depute a team to access the loss and the effected people be properly given proper compensation
