Council criticised
Meanwhile, the JKFA criticized the J&K State Sports Council for their `dictatorial’ attitude towards sports. “Instead of encouraging the participation of women at the national level, the State Sports Council has played a negative role with regard to sponsorship of the team. The Chief Sports Officer of the Council failed to report the venue, GGM Science College for screening of the team despite repeated requests by the Association. So, we request the Sports Minister to look into the matter and take action against the dictatorial attitude of the official concerned.” ------ Caption: The selected state football team before their departure for the Senior National Championship at GGM Science College ground Jammu on Friday.
