| Two held for raping girl | | | JAMMU, Apr 22: Two scooter mechanics were today arrested by police at Bishnah for allegedly outraging the modesty of a girl. The accused were identified as Raj Kumar alias Monu of ward No 4,
Bishnah, and Rakesh alias Dwarka of Bhagwanachak, Bishnah. While Monu owned a scooter repair shop at Bishnah, Dwarka worked with him, police sources said.
The girl, who hailed from Bhagwanachak, had gone to Karel Manasan when she was allegedly abducted by the accused Wednesday on a motorcycle.
The girl later narrated the incident to her parents, who then lodged a report with police. Cops arrested the accused today and booked them in an abduction and rape case.
The girl was also got medically examined at the hospital.
