Seven day workshop on teaching aids concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 22: A seven day long workshop on low cost teaching aids concluded at New Modern College of Education, Sainik Colony. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Siraz-ud-Din Bhat emphasized on teachers to fully understand the needs of present era and deal with the students so that they are able to compete in different professional exams. He said that teachers have responsibility towards the society as it is their influence which shapes the future generation of any society. “You are guides of next generation and the way you impart education to them, they will deal with the world of tomorrow and contribute to the society”, he said. During the past week, number of events were organised for the teachers and preparation of aids continued for five days during which large number of charts were prepared by the students. On the concluding day all the prepared teaching aids were put on display in an exhibition and students took keen interest in them. On the occasion MLA Samba Yashpal Kundal was the chief guest who appreciated the steps taken by the college. Speaking on the occasion, Kundal said that in past few years education scenario has changed the country so it is the responsibility of the teachers who have to deal with new challenges in the present competitive world.
