| National Seminar organized at GCW, Gandhi Nagar | | |

JAMMU, April 22: IQAC of Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized the inaugural ceremony of two day NAAC sponsored National Seminar on the topic ‘Quality Concerns in higher education for human and social development in the Glocal Context”.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was commissioner secretary Higher education department Tanveer Jehan. The function was presided over by Director College Sham Lal Gupta.
The resource person was Z.A Chat Principal, S.P College Srinagar. The programme started with lighting of lamp by the honored dignitaries.
Prof Nalini Kohli, Principal of the college welcomed the Chief Guest, Presiding officer, Resources persons especially Alka Sharma form University of Rajasthan and all the distinguished Principals and participants from across the state.
Keynote address was delivered by resource person, Prof Z.A Chat.
Tanveer Jehan while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the need for sustained and concerted efforts to maintain the quality of Higher education to met global challenges. Souvenir was also released by the distinguished guest.
