| Big 74-run win for Littler Flower School | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
AKHNOOR, April 22: In the ongoing under-16 cricket tournament at Government Higher Secondary School, here, Littler Flower School registered a big 74 runs win over Akhnoor Rocks.
Batting first, Littler Flower set a target of 141 runs losing all their wickets. Deepak was top scorer with 22 runs while Romi and Vinod contributed 19 and 10 runs respectively. From Akhnoor Rocks, Rahul and Bhupinder were most successful bowlers with three wickets each while Gurdeep took two.
Later, Akhnoor Rocks could not chase the total and bowled out for 65 runs in 10 overs. Jaanu was only batsman who scored in double figure. From Littler Flower, Romi claimed four wickets, followed by Anirudh and Rajesh, who shared two each.
For his all-round performance, Romi was declared man of the match.
