| Best Legislator’s award for Shah hailed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Apr 23: Syed Mohd. Rafiq Shah MLC & state president youth NPP was given a rousing welcome on his arrival in Kupwara town after receiving the best Legislator’s Award from the J&K Assembly Secretariat early this month.
Syed Rafiq Shah was taken in a huge precession through the main towns of the Kupwara district amongst raising of slogans in the honour of Bhim Singh, Panthers Party and Shah.
Shah in his speeches raised the voice of pahari people of this district and committed that he will leave no stone unturned in order to declare Paharies speaking subjects of the entire belt under schedule tribe status.
The slogan shouting youth were seen hugging each other and were disturbing sweets amongst people and thanked the JKNPP chairman for giving political power to this backward area through Rafiq Shah who have done wonderful job to organize this tribal belt.
The speakers thanked Bhim Singh to invite Rafiq Shah MLC to Delhi to attend 3rd Heart-to-Heart talks and choose him out of lacs of people from valley to talk directly with the people of J&K who have been forcefully occupied by the Pakistani Army and whose plight is a no secret to the outside world.
Rafiq Shah in his concluding address assured the people to fight till last to make the occupied Kashmir united so that the peace remain in the part of subcontinent a permanent feature.
