| JMC clears 45 building permission cases | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 23: Under the chairmanship of S.C Sawhney Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu, a meeting of Building Operation Controlling Authority was held today.
In the meeting the building permission cases were examined and 45 building permission cases were cleared. The other members of Building Operation Controlling Authority besides Joint Commissioner and Senior Town Planner of Jammu Municipal Corporation attended the meeting. The building permissions cases cleared today shall generate revenue of Rs. 7.50 lac for Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Besides this, the Enforcement staff while acting on complaint basis had removed the Air Conditioners Units which were fixed and placed by encroaching upon part of lane and also filled the pits which had been dug by encroaching the land.
The residents of the locality have appreciated the timely action taken by the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Further continuing the drive against the adulteration of milk the Municipal Veterinary Officer along with field staff visited the areas of Amphalla, Gumat, Gandhi Nagar, Nai Basti, Satwari, Digiana etc.
During the drive 105 milk cans were checked, out of which 06 milk cans which were of sub-standard quality / not fit for human consumption were destroyed on spot.
Apart from this, the team also visited the meat shops in area of Nai Basti and charged fine from the defaulters for selling the unstamped meat.
