NSUI demands scaling policy for CCS examinations | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 23: National Students Union of India (NSUI) has urged Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) to adopt scaling policy for combined competitive services examination. Addressing a meeting here today, state general secretary Arjun Singh Pathania said that JKPSC should adopt the policy of scaling to facilitate diversity in the selection process and to ensure equality among the students of all the streams. He also said that policy has been applied by UPSC in IAS examinations and JKPSC should not feel any hesitation or delay in adopting the said policy. Pathania said that there is great dissatisfaction among the youth that only students belonging to few subjects were selected in JKPSC. He added that there is great diversity in the approach of various subjects in the competitive examinations. Others those who were present in the meeting include JU President Sarbjit Singh Randhawa, Rai Arvinder Singh, Chetan Misri, Abhimanyu Jamwal, Sumit Kotwal, Sajjad Ahmed and Varun Dev Singh Jamwal.
