Govt. encouraging corruption: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, April 23: Youth wing of People Democratic Party (PDP) today blamed state government of encouraging corruption in public life. Addressing a meeting of the party workers youth wing president Rajinder Manhas said that recent ‘cash for vote’ scam involving BJP MLAs has shown that government has played a major role in the entire issue. Manhas said that corruption has entered every sphere of life and government has failed to take any effective measures against it. “The recent Legislative Council polls is example how rulers can use their power to buy votes to ensure their win in the elections”, he said. General Secretary, Nadeem Khan said that youth of the state are feeling frustrated due to the wrong policies of present regime. “NC-Congress regime had made tall promises that it will redress the problems of the common man, but they have failed to deliver and masses particularly youth are feeling dejected”, Khan said. NC-Congress regime has done nothing to readdress the grievances of the Youth. He called upon the people to strengthen the PDP as it is the only party which can come up to the expectation of general masses in general and youth in particular to solve the their various problems. He also urged that the young generation should fight against the rampant corruption in all fields of life. Among those who were present in the meeting included Balbir Singh, Gurdeep Singh Pandey, Vikram Singh, Raiz Atish, Varinder Singh Sonu, Arun Singh, Dimple Kumar, Ashwani Kohli , Parvesh Bali, Rajeshwar Jamwal, Ramnik and Mohd Afaq.
