| Notification for 10th Phase of Panchayat Elections introduced | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 18: Chief Electorate Officer (CEO) B. R. Sharma has issued notification for 10th Phase of Panchayat Elections in the State.
As per notification, the election are being held in 10th phase in block Teetwal of district Kupwara, block Pattan of district Baramulla, block Hajin of district Bandipora, block Keller (Main Block) of district Pulwama, block Dachnipora of district Anantnag, block Inderwal of district Kishtwar, block Assar and block Thathri of district Doda, block Banihal of district Ramban, block Khour of district Jammu and block Balakote of district Poonch.
The date of issue of notification for above mentioned blocks is April 23, 2011, last date for making nominations is April 30, 2011, the date of scrutiny of nominations is May 02, 2011, last date for withdrawal of candidature is May 04, 2011 and date of poll/counting wherever necessary is May 21, 2011. Election Authority has fixed the hours from 8.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m as the hours during which the poll shall, if necessary, be taken on May 21, 2011. The Counting of votes will take place at 3.00 p.m. on the same day at a place to be notified by the concerned District Panchayat Election officer (Deputy Commissioner).
