| Summer timings notified for govt offices, educational institutions | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 23: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Pawan Kotwal has notified the summer working hours in the state government offices and educational institutions located in the various districts of Jammu division with effect from 1-5-2011 to 30-9-2011.
As per a handout issued here today the summer timing in government offices and educational institutions district of Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri, Samba, Reasi, Kathua (Except Tehsil Bani) shall be observed between 8 a m to 2 p m.
In tehsil Bani, the timing in government offices and educational institutions shall be observed between 10 a m to 4 p m. In district Poonch, the timing in government offices shall be between 10 a m to 4 p m while in educational institutions from 8 a m to 2 p m. In district Ramban (Except Ramban tehsil and Niabat Batote of tehsil Ramban) the timing shall be observed between 10 a m to 4 p m whereas in tehsil Ramban, the government offices timing shall be from 10 a m to 4 p m and in educational institutions the timing shall be between 8 a m to 2 p m.
Niabat Batote shall observe timing in government offices and educational institutions between 10 a m to 4 p m. The summer timing in district Doda and Kishtwar (Except tehsil Doda) shall be between 10 a m to 4 p m. In tehsil Doda, the government offices timing shall be between 10 a m to 4 p m and in educational institutions the timing shall be between 8 a m to 2 p m, the handout said.
