| Ambedkar showed the way of life: Speakers | | |

Asserting that Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar was the man of principles, the speakers at a seminar today said that he showed the way of life.
“Dr Ambedkar—who gave India its Constitution—helped people to differentiate between the right and wrong and in the real essence showed the way of life,’’ Dwarka Prasad, General Manager, ONGC, Mumbai, who was the chief guest at a day-long seminar organised on 121st birth anniversary celebration of Dr Ambedkar said while addressing the seminar on ‘Life and Mission of Dr B R Ambedkar’ at RRL Auditorium.
Prasad said that the principles and footsteps of such a great leader should be followed by every human being for the upliftment of society.
“Dr Ambedkar has not worked for the cause and benefits of downtrodden and the poor only but he was a path showing personality for one and all,” he added.
Earlier welcoming the audience, Chairman—B R Ambedkar Education Foundation—S L Bharti said, “Dr Ambedkar was a personality, whose thoughts and beliefs cannot fade with time.”
Bharti said that, he was an inspiration for the young and the old and Dr Ambedkar’s Constitution of India—gave the country its identity.
Meanwhile other speakers including Sat Pal Bhagat, general secretary, K K Bhagat, Dr Sanjay Bhasin besides other members also threw light on the life of the leader.
Cultural programmes were also presented by the school students and the performance by famous folk dancer Rumalu Ram and singer Raj Kumar, remained highlight of the programme.
