Villagers demanded up-gradation of Govt high school Kundra | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, April 24: The residents of village Kundra, Bhabber, Payee tehsil and district Reasi held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sher Mohd. Gorsi and discussed various issues related to their area. The villagers appealed the government / concerning authorities to upgrade the government high school Kundra up to Higher Secondary Level for the students especially for the girl students who find difficult to commute to Reasi everyday. Moreover, they villagers said that the children from poor financial background cannot even think of seeking admission at Higher Secondary School Reasi which is about 28 kms from Village Kundra. A demand was also raised in the meeting about the construction of three culvert bridges for crossing the Nallah and Chenab at overhead Payee Canal (Pagwaan Bagh Head), Dera Baba Banda Bahadur and Bhabber locality. Also, the demand of an allopathic centre was raised on the occasion. The villagers demanded that an allopathic centre should be allocated to the area along with an ambulance for the convenience of the villagers.
