| Four families migrate fearing terror attacks | | | AKHNOOR, Nov 17 Four families today migrated from Kala Sarote and Donga villages Akhnoor tehsil fearing attack from Militant who was injured in a recent encounter that reportedly took place after one of the member of these families informed the army about the presence of Militants in the village. It is pertinent to mention here that one Lashkar-e-Toiba militant and two army soldiers were killed and eight others, including four police and three army personnel, were injured in the said encounter. Sources revealed that army and police launch search operation to nab the escaped militant, but the militant who remains untraced created fair among the residents of the area. A local resident Madan Lal, who had reportedly informed the police about the presence of six militants who even forcibly entered his house and took meals on gun point during the intervening night of November 11 and 12, a local resident told said. At least four families of village Kala Sorate and Dungi today migrated to Akhnoor fearing retaliation from one of the Militant who is said to have escaped after receiving bullet injuries and is still roaming in the area. “We have every apprehension that militant who escaped after receiving injuries will target any of us as”, Chuni Lal said, adding that the militants will not remain silent and will took revenge from us. It was reliably learnt that the families who have migrated from the area have left evey thing including their belongings. Sources said that since the militant is yet to be nabbed, the families fear that the militant could attack them to take revenge. |
