| Protest against minister’s kin held | | |
Jammu, Nov 17
Notwithstanding arrest of the accused, public anger against the hooliganism by the grand son of a senior minister continued as protest demonstrations were reported today also in Jammu as well as in Kathua.
In Jammu, activists of Jammu Joint Students Federation and students of GGM Science College took out a protest demonstration for expressing solidarity with the victim family and strict action against the accused.
The college students boycotted classes and held a demonstration. They were raising slogans for strict action against the accused.
Meanwhile at Nagri in Kathua, people held a protest demonstration against alleged misuse of the police machinery by accused grandson of the minister and appealed Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to personally look into the matter.
The protest demonstration was led by Dalip Mehta, vice-president of Municipal Committee Nagri. |
