Amid ceasefire violation, Pak tries to push ultras in Poonch

JAMMU, Apr 24: Amid ceasefire violation, Pakistan made an attempt to push militants into the Indian territory from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector early this morning.
Pak troops violated ceasefire and fired RPGs and opened small arms fire on Indian posts in Banbat forward area of Poonch, official sources said.The RPGs exploded away from the posts and there was no casualty or injury to anyone in the blasts and firing, the sources added.
Sources said under the cover of firing, Pak tried to push a group of militants into the Indian territory.The infiltrating militants were, however, sighted and challenged by
the troops. They managed to flee back to Pakistan unhurt, the sources added.
Security had been further strengthened along the LoC as troops were apprehending more infiltration bids in the coming days.
