| JPVM welcomes opening of Golf course | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 25: Jammu Prayatan Vikas Mandal (JPVM) have welcomed opening of Jammu Tawi Golf Course at Sidhra, in the outskirts of Jammu city.
In a handout issued here today, JPVM has described this development as a big step towards promotion of tourism in Jammu, since the golf course having nine holes and spread over vast area on the banks of river Tawi will attract tourists from within the country and even abroad, particularly those who are fond of this adventure.
Meeting conveyed their thanks to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, former Chief Minister and Union Minister for Renewable and New Energy, Farooq Abdullah, as well as Ghulam Nabi Azad, another former Chief Minister of the state and presently Union minister for health and family welfare, besides state tourism minister Nawang Rigzin Jora for taking keen interest and making untiring efforts to accomplish this dream project.
Meeting that was cheered by Ravi Mahajan Chairman .JPVM was attended by Kuldeep Vihi, H.S.Anand President Jammu Hotel, Restaurants & Bar Association, Inderjeet Khajuria President All Jammu Hotels and lodges Association, Devinder Choudhary President All Jammu Tourists Taxi Operators, Pawan Gupta and Mangal Verma.
