| JKMEF protest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | JULY 29 Jammu & Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) staged massive dharna outside Director Health Services Complex Jammu. The federation has been struggling since long for fulfilling their demands. Sushil Sudan, President along with Vinod Sharma Secretary General JKMEF demanded regularization of all adhoc and consolidated Medical Employees and rank promotion of Pharmacists. Vinod Sharma, while lambasting the Govt. reminded that even Chief Minister has agreed in Principal to consider the demands but nothing concrete happened on the ground. They demanded FTA of field staff (Malaria) be enhanced from Rs. 45 to Rs. 500 P.M. The existing grade of FMPHW and MPHW be upgraded from 3050-4910 to 4000-6000 and be promoted as Health educators. DPC to be held twice in a year on regular basis and promotion be granted on basis of strict seniority. Lift the ban imposed on Private Practice by Para Medical Staff or sanction Non- Practice allowance immediately. While speaking President Sushil Sudan retreated the commitment of the Federation to get the demands fulfilled. Struggle would continue unless the genuine demands are considered. Others on the occasion are: S. Ghar Singh, Kamal Jeet Sawhney, Pawan Sharma, Rajinder Bali, Deepak Khajuria, Anil Khajuria, Surishta Devi, Sheela Devi, Babli Sharma, Bhushan, Om Prakash, Jarnail Singh, R.P Singh, and B.L. Khandey Jeet Kumar Ramotra.
