| Farooq inaugurates cricket facility at Science College | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 25: President of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) and Union Minister for Renewable Energy, Farooq Abdullah today declared open the cricket facility at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Named `Prince of Wales Pavilion’, the facility include a dining hall and change rooms to be used during the zonal tournaments hosted by the Association in different age groups, including Ranji Trophy.
Soon after inaugurating the complex, Farooq Abdullah had a round of the newly raised building. He was briefed by the chairman of the Association, Mohd Aslam Goni in the presence of general secretary, Salim Khan, working president, Romesh Mahajan and treasurer, Ahsan Ahmed Mirza about the project.
Principal, GGM Science College, MS Baloria as also former top cricketers of the state, Ashwani Gupta, Kavaljeet Singh and Sanjay Sharma were among prominent people present.
