| Court denies bail to minister’s grand son | | |
Kathua, Nov 17
Chief judicial magistrate Varinder Singh today rejected the bail application of accused grand son of a cabinet minister, who was arrested by Kathua police for making an attempt to kidnap and molest a girl.
Sources said that bail application moved by accused through his council on Thursday pleading that he was innocent and was implicated in baseless and false case, the court had sought the repot from the police and adjourned the matter for today.
It was reliably learnt that after hearing the council of the accused and the prosecution side, the court announced a 12-page order today.
Observing that the prima fascia case was made out against the accused, the court held that in case the bail is granted to the applicant it may create hurdles in the investigation. |
