| HC stays suspension of Kashmir cricket club president | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 25: Justice Virender Singh of the state high court today stayed the suspension of Kashmir cricket club president Moti Lal Nehru.The court directive came in a writ petition filed by Avtar Krishan Tickoo and others.
Justice Singh observed that prima-facie a case for showing indulgence was made out.
Therefore, a short notice be served on all the seven respondents, including J&K state and J&K bank chairman, excluding BCCI, returnable within a week, he ordered.He also stayed the suspension of petitioner No 2 who was stated to be a member of working committee.
