| GOC Chinar Corps visits Lolab | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 26: Lt Gen SA Hasnain, AVSM, SM, VSM*, General Officer Commanding, Chinar Corps interacted with the people of Lolab Region oat Army Goodwill School.
The GOC was felicitated by village elders. District Commissioner, Kupwara Mohd Shafi Rather was present alongwith civil/administration staff of the district. The General Officer addressed the gathering.
The Corps Commander said that it is the focus of the Army to bring a greater humane face to the Army Operations. While addressing the gathering the GOC congratulated them for an incident free Panchayat election in Lolab.
After the address, the GOC interacted with the children of Dar-ul-Loom orphanage and distributed gifts to children.
The gathering expressed their gratitude to the General for visiting them. They appreciated the role of the Army in development work in Lolab valley and their efforts to bring peace and security to the region.
