| VC Jammu University visits Heritage school for interactive talk | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, April 26: Prof. Varun Sahni, Vice Chancellor Jammu University visited Heritage School, Jammu, for an interactive talk with the senior students of the school on the topic: ‘Resilient Indian Democracy and Today’s Youth.’
The Vice Chancellor appreciated about the infrastructure and opined that Heritage School is among the best schools in Northern region.
The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp and welcome address by the Principal, Sangiv Asthana. The Principal congratulated the students of having the privilege to listen to an academician of international repute and interact with him, which is a rare opportunity.
Prof. Varun Sahni in his interaction touched on variety of contemporary issues related to Democracy and the crucial role of the youth in making democracy a success .
He also exhorted the generation next to resolve multitudes of problems faced by the society in an amicable way to bring perfect harmony between conflicting forces and national interests.
