Non-seriousness ,casual approach have no room in premier health institutions:Chib | Indiscipline of any short will not be tolerated at any cost | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, APRIL 26- Minister for Medical Education, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports R. S. Chib today expressed anguish and concern over the growing incidents of indiscipline in the hospitals. He said indiscipline of any short will not be tolerated at any cost, adding that non-seriousness and casual approach have no room in the premier health institutions at Medical Colleges. He added that the welfare of the employees at all levels will be taken care of. However, the non-serious and mischief mongers, will not be allowed to take law in their hands at the cost of patient care. Mr. Chib said that the Government would strengthen and streamline the Control Rooms of Government Medical Colleges (GMC) and its Associated Hospitals to effectively monitor the working of the staff. This was stated by the Minister while chairing a meeting convened to review the functioning of GMC and its associated hospitals here today. Addressing the meeting, the Minister said the strengthening of the Control Rooms will not only improve the functioning of different departments but will facilitate the patients and their attendants coming to these hospitals from remote and far-flung areas. Among others, Minister of State for Medical Education, Mr. Javid Ahmad Dar, Principal Secretary Medical Education, Mr. Suresh Kumar, besides Principals GMC, Dr. Rajinder Singh, Superintendents, HoDs and Deputy Superintendents were also attended the meeting.
